Real estate and property development opportunities: Sydney’s North West Growth Centre

Sydney’s North West is becoming an increasingly popular place to live and is presenting many lucrative real estate and property development opportunities. With the roll-out of the NSW Planning and Environment’s infrastructure plan, more homes, jobs and essential services will be established in the North West Priority Growth Area. Over the next nine years, 33,000 homes will be provided (by 2026), and once fully developed the area will be home to around 250,000 people.

Vibrant, attractive and well-connected communities will be created, where people can live and work with good access to public transport (North West Rail Link – Sydney Metro), community facilities, open spaces, shops and cafes. New homes and land subdivision sites will be located close to shops, schools and transport services. Residents will also have access to nearby community facilities such as parks, libraries and cafes. A range of housing types at different price points will be established, giving everyone from the first home buyer, growing family or even retiree more choice when it comes to owning or selling their own home. Real estate offerings such as terraces, townhouses, apartments, duplexes and Torrens title homes, will be constructed to meet the needs of Sydney’s growing North West population. Communities and residents will have access to local jobs, including those nearby at Marsden Park, Rouse Hill, Box Hill, Norwest Business Park, Blacktown and Penrith.

New planning controls have ensured the right infrastructure is available in time to meet the needs of these growing communities. The Sydney Metro Northwest is operational and boasts a landmark railway bridge at Rouse Hill. Check out the first ever stable car railway bridge built in Australia.

Over the coming years, The NSW Government is actively working with Blacktown City Council, The Hills Shire Council and Hawkesbury City Council’s to plan, create and develop Sydney’s North West Priority Growth Area, which includes the suburbs of Riverstone, Vineyard, Schofields, Rouse Hill, Kellyville, Marsden Park and Colebee. • Marsden Park North
  • North Kellyville
